Duty Diligence ("the app") is operated by In The Park Consulting Ltd. This policy describes what the app reads, what it stores, and how to have that data removed.
The app reads product and inventory fields from your Shopify store through the Admin API: product and variant titles, prices, cost per item, harmonized system (HS) codes, and countries of origin. It requests read-only access to products and does not modify your catalogue.
The app stores your shop domain, the API session Shopify issues for it, and app settings derived from your catalogue (for example, which HS code and origin pairs your products use). This is held in Google Cloud Firestore. The app does not collect or store customer personal data of any kind - no names, addresses, emails, orders, or payment details.
Duty rates shown in the app are computed from published United States tariff sources (the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, CBP bulletins, and Federal Register actions). Rates and margins are informational estimates, not customs, legal, or financial advice.
When you uninstall the app, its stored sessions for your shop are deleted. Shopify also sends a shop redaction request 48 hours after uninstall, at which point any remaining data held for your shop is deleted. Because the app stores no customer personal data, customer data requests and customer redaction requests are acknowledged with nothing to return or remove.
